Susie West, CEOMy role at sharedserviceslink.com: I head up a team of highly skilled people and make sure that we over deliver in a very professional and personable way. It’s my role to ensure that we are commercially successful while keeping our main focus on the quality of the service we provide. I look for and capitalise on growth opportunities for the business. Previous life: I sold e-invoicing technology in Europe and the US for five years. Before that I worked at Citigroup Shared Services on a benchmarking project. I started my career at a conference company where I set up a division focused on shared services events. I am proud of: Building sharedserviceslink.com. Steve Standring, CCOMy role at sharedserviceslink.com: I head up the sales team as well as help formulate and implement overall sharedserviceslink strategy with Susie. It’s my role to ensure that we are commercially successful whilst still aligned with our core values and customer needs. Previous life: I have been a sales Director in various young companies over the last 20 years. Most notably I set up sales for Tivoli systems in Europe, followed by a successful public offering and purchase by IBM. Subsequently I was invited to join Works.com in the States and OB10 in the UK. I have worked as a consultant to the Management Consulting, Financial shared services and Payments arena for the last 5 years before joining sharedserviceslink.com. Sarah Feurey, Senior ResearcherMy role at sharedserviceslink.com: I conduct market research to develop and produce our conferences, learning labs and webinars. sharedserviceslink.com places great emphasis on securing high-level speakers on cutting edge content with a great deal of quality control to ensure a great experience for all attending. Previous life: I have been working for a variety of media and publishing companies producing conferences, exhibitions, and awards for leading brands since 2008. I’ve lived in New York, Washington DC, Paris and now London. I studied International Affairs at George Washington University and King’s College London. I am proud of: Completing my first triathlon! Anna Bowsher, Researcher
My role at sharedserviceslink.com: Along with Sarah, I am responsible for thoroughly researching the market, finding out the latest issues and trends. I regularly speak with heads of shared services, finance directors and systems providers to find out what is affecting them and why. I am driven by understanding their problems at a human level and helping them find the right solutions for their organisation. Previous life: After graduating with a law degree, I worked in a variety of paralegal roles, as a research assistant at the Guardian and as a production manager in a small film production company. I then started working at sharedserviceslink.com in May 2012. I am proud of: Finishing my postgrad degree, learning Spanish and travelling around South America.
