Gardner Denver, a leading manufacturer of highly engineered products including compressors and liquid ring pumps, is setting up a shared services centre in Czech Republic's second city, Brno.
The company, which has revenues of $1.9bn is planning to employ one hundred people by the end of 2013. A big focus for the centre will be accounts payable processing.
Michael M Larsen, Vice President and CFO of Gardner Denver said, "thanks to the new centre, finance processes will be more efficient and better controlled throughout our organisation and the experience and expertise of our talented employees will be concentrated in one place."
Brno has attracted other shared services investment over the past few years from corporates like Tesco, DSG International, Motorola, and PPG.
