Central Consulting Group today announced that Ayres Associates, an engineering and architectural solutions firm based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, selected CCG to streamline billing processes across their 13 United States facilities. Ayres Associates selected electronic invoicing following a review of the product and a meeting at the 2011 Deltek Insight Conference.

“We selected Electronic Invoicing from CCG to centralize all billing processes on the same platform,“ said Richard Schoenthaler, Vice President Finance & CFO at Ayres Associates.“ This will be the foundation for us to enable our billing coordinators to complete billing for any of our Project Managers in any location.”

Designed for AEC and professional services firms, CCG’s electronic invoicing streamlines and automates the traditionally complex invoice review process. The module helps customers using Deltek Vision to shorten the A/R cycle, improve invoice tracking, decrease errors and go paperless.

With electronic invoicing, Ayres Associates will improve efficiency by allowing Project Managers to work with multiple billing coordinators, which will eliminate delays in the process. The Project Managers will use the seamless Deltek integration and PDF file interface to electronically view and document the PDF thereby eliminating paper waste and the need for people to be in the same physical location to review.

“The ability to track and audit our invoicing is important,“ continued Schoenthaler, Vice President Finance & CFO at Ayres Associates. “The electronic invoicing module will provide us this visibility into our invoicing processes, which is critical to help us to reduce our billing time.”

The implementation of electronic invoicing for Ayres Associates is in process. In preparation for the deployment, CCG has been working with Ayres Associates on definitions and workflow improvements.
