More than 55,000 customers in Qatar have switched from paper bills to e-billing services provided by Qatar Telecom (Qtel).
The Qtel e-billing service is designed to send a PDF-formatted bill to customers’ e-mail addresses.
Qtel will move all of its remaining paper bill customers to paperless options after the November 30, 2011. Paper bills will still be available after 30 November, but Qtel customers will be charged a fee of approximately EUR 1 (QAR 5) per bill if they wish to continue receiving them.
