SAP Configuration and Solution Owner (Manage Finance Procure to Pay)

The successful candidate will manage the provision of a configuration service to support business processes that enables the SAP Solution to be operated effectively and help to develop the operational strategy for the STW Shared Support Organisation, in consultation with the Solution Delivery Manager, modifying services and processes accordingly.
The SAP Configuration and Solution Owner has an important part to play, with key responsibilities including:
- Overseeing the configuration of SAP ECC, CRM, SRM, other SAP components and other applications system settings according to business requirements and document updates for all configuration changes
- Being accountable for the team delivering the service to support colleagues in the operation of the end-to-end business process and its applications / systems
- Assessing process requirements, manages capacity and resources for further enhancements and improvements to address business need and enabling delivery of business plans
- Proactively managing relationships with Process Owners and other IS stakeholders
- Challenging and improving ways of working by optimising the use of SAP, other applications, tools and business processes
- Supervising best practice in solution team for delivery of stable, reliable, maintainable, documented solutions that support business processes and continuous improvement
- Establishes and delivers solutions (People, Process and Technology) within agreed Operational Level Agreements with other IS teams.
- Reporting process performance data and information provided by Solution Analysts to identify trends, areas for focus and prioritisation, improvement and optimisation
- Identifying where additional benefits can be realised and presenting this to stakeholders
- Reviewing functional and configuration documentation to support solution delivery, knowledge transfer and quality of processes
- Managing transition from Project Team to support, as and when any project / enhancement is moved to production, providing guidance to Leads to achieve successful sign off
- Overseeing the Solution Team's test criteria and processes to ensure system changes are fit for purpose and minimising business risk.
