Manheim, the provider of vehicle remarketing services and a division of Cox Enterprises, selects Transcepta, the global procure-to-pay network, to simplify its accounts payable process and eliminate the costs associated with paper transactions by connecting electronically with its suppliers.
Manheim researched a solution that would maximise supplier adoption and enable secure, cloud-based business transaction and collaboration, eliminating the need for paper invoices and related documents.
"Choosing to communicate electronically with suppliers to eliminate much of the paper processing for Manheim and its suppliers was an absolute no brainer, and working with Transcepta gave us the flexibility we needed to reach virtually all of our suppliers. We estimate we'll eliminate the need for 5m pieces of paper a year" said Nancy Patin, Manheim's senior director of Enterprise Resource Planning.
For each connection option, set-up is completed in minutes, enabling suppliers to transact directly from their existing systems for guaranteed, secure delivery. With Transcepta, suppliers do not pay any fees or require IT resources.
