Senior Reporting Controller

A Senior Reporting Controller is needed to join a Global Brand Leader based in Manchester. The successful candidate will ideally have a masters degree or is educated to a degree level in one of the following: Finance, Economics or Accounting. You will be Qualified in CIMA or ACCA. It is essential that you have worked in a strong controlling environment (preferably within Shared Services). SAP system experience is essential along with Business Warehouse and excellent MS Excel.

Role responsibilities include:

• Translate financial results and business performance to explain in a clear, understandable way to the business
• Execute and develop standard, ad-hoc and tax reporting activities for the Northern Europe region and its market organisations in a timely way
• Support users of the Business Reporting module (BI) and answer any queries as Local Process Expert
• Contribution towards performance management and improvement projects for the region, e.g. best practice reporting roll out
• Support month-end closing and communicate the closing results
• Prepare and execute territory realignment and restatement activities

The role would be suitable for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and self-reliant with effective communication skills. You would also be willing to travel internationally when required.
