In December 2011, CFO Research Services (a unit of CFO Publishing LLC) conducted a survey among 263 senior finance executives in North America, Europe, and Asia. All were employed at companies with annual revenues of $100m or more.

According to this survey the use of business networks and the technologies underlying them is helping to transform procurement from a tactical function to a strategic contributor to company success.
