Global Shared Services Manager

The Shared Services Enablement (SSE) Department exists to provide services and solutions in the areas of global program and project management, performance management and reporting & analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Project management & accounting support
  • Prepares, manages and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Manages day to day operational aspects of a project and scope
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to project lead
  • Effectively applies applicable PM++ methodology/tools or comparable, uses MS Project and enforces project standards
  • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
  • Manages and controls project dependencies; resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
  • Coordinates and reviews work stream status reports and appropriately addresses/escalates risks and issues
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately on SharePoint or designated repository
  • Holds regular status meetings with project team aligning with the Project Lead
  • Coordinates touch points with customers for Project Team
  • Supports Project Lead in coordinating and preparing materials for updates to GSS Leadership, Steering Committee and Sponsor groups
  • Prepares project budget plan, monitors monthly spend and prepares forecast updates
  • Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis
  • Global Reporting/Planning & Analysis
  • Provides support to Global SSC on annual budget plan, monthly spend, projections and variance analysis
  • Prepares and communicates annual Chargeback Model for Global SSC
  • Reconciles monthly spend versus monthly chargeback to serviced markets and records a true  up as required
  • Supports Department Budget Coordinator with invoice tracking and chargeback journals to our customers
  • Continuous Controls Monitoring
  • Drives segregation of duties benefits
  • Strengthens internal controls with other control benefits realized over time
  • Establishes and integrates leading practices for service performance and continuous improvement
