Sr. Manager, Shared Services

Sr. Manager, Shared Services, reporting to the VP of IT needed in Santa Barbara, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Manages idea generation, prioritization, qualification, and project delivery from an IT perspective for company's shared services business areas
• Leads team to understand and document global, regional, and local business processes specific to system
• Configures and/or develops systems to support initial deployments and subsequent process optimization efforts
• Works with and/or directs IT team members to develop solutions and ensure systems meet the needs of the global organization in terms of functionality and quality
• Provides support to business associates on systems use as needed and establishes self as a trusted advisor and thought leader to the business teams
• Collaborates with the business constituents to identify and prioritize the delivery of new business capabilities and optimizing existing capabilities
• Gathers requirements and develops systems designs resulting in the delivery of new systems (people/process/technology) capabilities
• Leads teams in the delivery of new systems and systems capabilities
• Develops and executes detailed test scenarios to ensure end work product is of high quality and transition to productive use is smooth
• Ensures business constituents are adequately trained in the usage of systems
• Assists users in developing user testing documentation and training material
• Develops and maintain working knowledge of industry trends and business best practices
