Director – ERP/SAP

VWR seeks a skilled Director of ERP/SAP. The ideal candidate will have strong systems integration experience, and will be focused on our North American SAP support, enhancements & implementations.

This position will lead a team of SAP business systems professionals and ABAP developers in the continuing support and enhancement of our North American SAP solution.

Additionally, this leader will support the implementation to new entities. The incumbent will evaluate, design and manage the deployment of all SAP functional areas in line with the IT strategy and overall business objectives.

The individual will understand how actions taken in one area of the system impacts related areas and will understand, establish and manage the scope and quality of the overall solution.

The individual will have a strong understanding of how SAP integrates across modules and with other IT systems.

While the candidate's primary responsibility is in the area of support and enhancement of the SAP system/team and processes, he/she will as well be held accountable for project management of the SAP process/build aspect for implementation(s) of new entities, and therefore should have experience in ASAP/consulting methodology/project management and ITIL.
