Senior Finance Director

Are you a fully qualified Accountant with more than 10 years finance experience from a Life Science Research/Pharmaceutical organisation?

Dynamic and forward thinking Development organisation requires a true leader with commercial aptitude to lead and manage their European Finance, Outsourcing and Contract management function.

You will need to ensure that financial resources are fully planned and internal department requirements are fully achieved. You will also act as a member of the Global Finance Committee in order to deliver global finance strategy.

Role metrics to involve:

• Preparation of budgets - this will involve full process and accountability - report directly to GM
• Full ownership of P&L BS and cash flow for the organisation
• Management reporting and effective management of project finance - to provide project based budget planning and tracking support - act as a primary contact with resource planning in order to request resources required
• Lead and manage an outsourcing and contract management function with full accountability for all financial deliverables
• Oversee accounting policies as well as external audit
• Play a pivotal role in business continuity planning
• Serve as company secretary in preparation for all Board meetings - will include statutory reports and JSOX compliance - You will also need to ensure absolute compliance to international standards, corporate policies and procedures
• Guide the development of outsourcing in-house competency models in partnership with HR
