Director of Finance

Acorns is seeking a new Director of Finance, to play a key strategic role in taking forward our ambitious growth strategy.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, and as part of a professional and committed Executive Management Board, you will lead on finance, IT and multi-site facilities. In addition, as a Board Director of the Trading Company you will be responsible for the network of 53 shops.

As a qualified accountant, you will bring a track record of success in developing and delivering financial and commercial strategies, and will thrive in an innovative, entrepreneurial environment.

You will bring a business partnering approach and seek to proactively add value across the charity, while deploying your commercial acumen to identify and exploit development opportunities. You will provide focused, empowering and dynamic leadership to enable performance improvement, as well as strong external stakeholder management skills to enable you to engage effectively with Acorns’ high profile partners.
