Accounts Payable & Expenses Supervisor

Salary Range: £27k - £29k

Based at shared services operation in Billingham, your main focus will be to develop
and co-ordinate the Accounts Payable and Expenses operation; providing strong team
leadership, continuously improving systems and processes to achieve a smooth, efficient service in line with high company standards.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• ensuring the prompt throughput of payments to maintain strong supplier relations and the timely processing of employee expenses
• help to resolve any supplier payment queries in conjunction with both external and internal stakeholders
• contribute to resource and systems planning and be expected to identify opportunities for streamlining operations and improving processes
• preparing local VAT returns for submission to Head Office
