Northgate Information Solutions (Northgate) has chosen Taulia to provide a range of self-service functions for Northgate’s supplier base. Taulia will provide Northgate with e-invoicing services and a fully automated purchase-to-pay process in order to ensure invoice compliance across country boarders and to provide vendors with full visibility of the invoice process.
Since the initial implementation, supplier adoption has been steadily increasing through a gradual rollout across the UK, United States, Canada and additional countries in Europe. According to Northgate, suppliers have been particularly pleased with how easy it is to submit invoices in the portal and the ability to use the portal to track invoice status and manage any disputes.
Sara Peters, director of the Shared Service Centre for Northgate, said “As a Shared Services Centre, we deal with a high volume of vendor enquiries throughout the purchase to payment process, which require significant Accounts Payable resources to manage. The comprehensive self-service portal allows our suppliers full visibility into the invoicing cycle, creating more efficient communication; in the long term our target is to reduce inbound calls and emails to our AP department by 50%.”
