Director, F&A Governance Shared Services

Assurant is looking for a Director, F&A Governance Shared Services to be based in Atlanta, US.

Position is envisioned to lead Governance for Assurant F&A Shared Services (F&A EBS) - an internal shared services group. The position will include vendor management if and as required in the future given the possibility to engage with an outsourcing service provider.

The position will be part of the Enterprise Sourcing Office at Assurant and operate under the overall guidelines and protocols established by Assurant Transformation Office.

This position will work closely with F&A EBS leadership and internal customers of F&A EBS - Assurant CFO council in ensuring an effective, independent and transparent reporting of F&A EBS's performance, strong focus on customer service and identifying ways to achieve both strategic and tactical objectives for both EBS and various Assurant finance organizations/ internal customers,

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement a strong planning and reporting process in conjunction with Assurant Enterprise Sourcing Office, Internal customer leadership (CFO - Council) and EBS leadership team
• Provide objective and independent reporting of performance metrics and financial value realization to Executive Management / CFO Council
• Manage the tactical and routine tasks of customer & provider relationship management, issue resolution, contract management, transformation planning, governance meeting planning, service level agreement ('SLA') and key performance indicator ('KPI') tracking
• Design, implement and manage a strong governance process
