SAP Capacity & Planning Manager

Global telecommunications client is recruiting for a SAP Systems Strategy & Capacity Planning Manager to take responsibility of key deliverables of the project. You will be based in Germany for the duration of the contract.

This role requires good communication skills and understanding of SAP implementations and architecture to plan and deliver service reliability as follows:

• Accountable for the development and evolution of technical platforms
• Owns the environment platform design (up to database level) for all services
• Translates capacity requirements for new demands received from demand project teams, specifying required processing power (SAPs), RAM, storage, into updated environment/platform design, identifying Servers required to be added or upgraded
• Align environment and platform strategy with Data Centre and Network
• Creates and maintains a framework for technical capacity management and reporting
• Defines, agrees, and establishes capacity management process for services
• Run capacity and performance reviews with support and operations suppliers
• Provides input to budget planning for hardware and Data Centre and Network services
• Support Problem Management for performance and capacity related problems
