It has been announced that Lend Lease, the property and infrastructure group, will be utilising Ariba’s cloud solutions to build a transparent, globally compliant procurement process. Lend Lease will specifically be using Ariba Discovery® to find suppliers and Ariba Sourcing On-demand to more efficiently negotiate with its trading partners . Lend Lease will be able to manage interactions with their trading partners more effectively through award optimisation and savings tracking.
Lend Lease will be able to use Ariba’s applications for the management of spend, collaborative finance and sales acceleration. All services will be delivered through the web and also include a customer community where companies can network; share best practices and collaborate in an attempt to encourage more effective commerce practices.
Nigel McKay, Head of Procurement and Supply Chain for EMEA at Lend Lease commented, “As a provider of property management and construction services involving public funds and authorities, it is critical that we have a standard, best-practice process for sourcing goods and services that we can use to drive savings, efficiencies and compliance with the various regulations. Ariba provides us with an open platform through which we can collaborate both internally and with external partners to achieve this goal.”
