Head of Shared Services

A large and evolving organisation in the North West currently have a requirement for a Head of Shared Services to join them to lead the function.

An exciting time in the development of this organisation, they require a strong leader to take ownership of, and be the face of the shared service function.

Key responsibilities are expected to include:

• directing the function to achieve its targets and agreed performance levels
• ensuring a compliant and quality service
• ensuring financial controls are in place and meet business objectives
• managing and influencing stakeholder relationships
• ensuring recommendations for improvements are made regularly and that such improvements are implemented effectively
• creating and ensuring a strong and cohesive team culture, with all employees focused on delivering high levels of service.

The right candidate for this role will ideally have previous experience of managing a diverse shared service function, with proven experience of managing a large budget. You will thrive on a challenge, and must be an excellent relationship builder, motivated by creating a strong team environment, which delivers a quality service.
