Analyst and Senior Analyst – Finance

KPMG’s Melbourne based finance team is looking for an Analyst and Senior Analyst to join them.

The Analyst and Senior Analyst work as key members of the team, with scope including decision support, simplification, financial management and governance, working closely with internal clients to assist in the delivery of simplification and continuous improvement of business systems, processes and practices.

Responsibilities will include:

• Support the divisional Head of Finance - Advisory by identifying areas where the business can improve performance, achieve its objectives and mitigate risks
• Create non standard financial analysis and present trends
• Provide financial analysis using internal and external information and data
• Execution of simplification projects and implementation of best practice within the Finance function
• Provide analytical support on an as needed basis for strategic activities
• Support the Finance Manager in budget preparation and reforecasts for their review
