Quiksilver, the surf, skate and snows sports equipment provider has chosen Cegedim as its international partner for the dematerialisation of all its customer invoices.
Already using an electronic invoicing system for its large accounts, Quiksilver now wants to expand the system to all of its customers, and in particular the 16,000 independent retailers that sell the brand globally, and have selected Cegedim’s digitisation outsourcing service to assist. Quiksilver is aiming to optimise sales procedures and facilitate customer relations, while reducing its carbon footprint.
The system will be gradually rolled-out with e-invoices initially only being sent to a few countries. Invoices will be sent in pdf form with a digital signature, and will be made available for review on Quiksilver’s e-commerce portal. Cegedim will ensure that the e-invoices comply with the laws of the customer’s home country and are archived in legally enforceable form for 10 years.
