SAP IT Audit Manager

General Purpose of Position:

Responsible for developing and executing annual and project level IT audit plans, effectively managing and supervising multiple GM audit teams (supplemented by co-sourced auditors) engaged in identifying business risks, analyzing controls, reporting results, and deciding reportable issues while concurring on management action plans.

All work will be performed at a high level of quality in conformance with GMAS internal audit methodology and The Institute of Internal Auditors’ International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage global SAP system development project audits (Pre-implementation, Implementation, Post-Implementation) related to the approved portfolio of SAP projects as defined by senior leadership
• Interact with executive level management on GM SAP strategic direction and control issues
• Prepare clear and concise reports on project status, key issues and recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee
• Consult on IT scopes of global business audits with production SAP applications in scope as needed
• Design and deploy common GMAS data extraction and analysis processes and procedures for production SAP applications
• Provide input and advice to GM IT on global common SAP security & controls processes and procedures
• Develop and manage a core team of global GMAS professionals trained in assessing SAP controls and security configurations
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of automotive and IT-related business risks to properly drive annual and project-level audit plans
