Global Leader Finance Shared Services

A manufacturer is looking for a Global Director of Shared Accounting Services.  The successful candidate will interact heavily with personnel in the business groups as well as corporate functions.

This position reports directly to the VP Corporate Controller. You will be a key financial team member, providing valuable financial information that will be used to make business decisions that directly impact the company’s bottom line.

Responsibilities:

• Continue to develop a strategic vision for shared services consistent with the company’s restructuring and growth plans
• Conduct a strategic “make-buy" analysis evaluating all shared services’ opportunities and obtain management approval
• Update a comprehensive road map that articulates the strategy to broad actionable cost-effective plans
• Communicate the strategy and broad plans to appropriate functional and divisional executive management to gain support
• Provide program and project management leadership to identify and procure resources to build and support a high-caliber shared services center
• Actively lead and manage the implementation of shared services’ plans consistent with established cost, quality and delivery goals achieving superior customer satisfaction
• Drive process standardization and manage and lead process improvement and transformation activities consistent with predetermined plans before processes are transitioned to the shared services center
