Accounts Payable Manager

A financial services firm is seeking a new accounts payable manager to join their Edinburgh office.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the accounts payable team in Edinburgh that services all of the EMEA region and acts as back up for Americas & APAC
• Ensure operations perform in an effective and efficient manner within legislation
• Key member of shared services management team and contribute to business strategy and the firms annual objectives
• Suggest improvements and streamline processes
• Close contact with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to
• Ensure internal controls are in place and SOX is complied with
• Assist in career development of staff
• Management of multi-currency Accounts Payable Department
• Use of T&E systems and multi-currency AP systems with AP Oracle Track record of improving operations
