Brazil shared service center finance and accounting manager

Brazilian Shared Service Center are seeking a Finance and Accounting Manager to work within their Rio de Janeiro location.

Responsibilities:

• Main contact for Country and Regional Finance, Business Unit Finance and Corporate Accounting
• Oversight of the management of the SSC Front Desk Accounting team and ensure all SSC responsibilities and tasks are completed efficiently, effectively and in a timely manner.
• Co-ordinate the month close and Quarterly close for Accounting
• Work closely with offshore captive shared service accounting team in Bangalore, India on production of reconciliations and close process
• Participate in Balance sheet reviews
• Ensure all account reconciliations are completed timely and accurately review and approve those from the front desk
• Ensure SOX compliance for all activities of the SSC accounting teams
• Participate in monthly calls with the Country accounting managers to review the balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all the necessary follow-up and actions are taken
• Ad hoc reporting and investigation for Regional finance, Business units and corporate accounting
• Co-ordinate all LAC-wide requests
• Meet monthly SSC SLAs
