Kofax Receives Certification from Belgium to Become Nation's First Approved Capture Software Provider
Kofax recently announced that its Kofax Capture software has been awarded certification from Belgium's Ministry of Finance to become, according to Kofax, the nation's first legally-approved capture software for organisations converting from paper to digital invoicing.
Conforming to the nation's new regulations governing paper-to-digital conversion, Kofax currently offers the only valid platform available to Belgian organisations seeking to move from paper-based to electronic-only invoice processing. With this shift, incoming documents are digitally captured, processed and archived, with any paper originals or copies being eliminated after scanning.
In securing the certification, Kofax collaborated closely with Belgium-based Onea, the Kofax Certified Solution Provider that developed a customised invoice processing management module compliant with national mandates. These include strict regulations to ensure that digitally captured documents and images are accurately, safely and securely preserved, as well as mandates guaranteeing electronic data authenticity and integrity.
