SAP Launches Hosted On Demand Package for Mid Market Customers
ERP giant SAP is venturing further into the online hosted data centre field with the introduction of a new enhanced package of its Business ByDesign offering. The new updated on-demand offering, available online and with a monthly, rather than annual, subscription fee is expected to reduce operational IT costs for customers with the target market to be mid sized companies. 2.0 Business ByDesign will now offer 35 more modules including business intelligence and procure-to-pay services.
The hosted software package is currently available in the UK, US, China, France, Germany and India. 2.0 Business ByDesign is to offer companies a reduced fee per user for consultants and integrates many IT components including automated billing and other finance functions.
Hans-Peter Klaey, president of SME and corporate officer of SAP, said “With the availability of the feature pack 2.0, we significantly increase the value that our midsize charter clients are receiving from SAP Business ByDesign.”
