Darlington and Stockton Borough Councils Merge
The two Borough Councils of Stockton and Darlington have created Xentrall Shared Services, which is geared to serve as a transactional finance service for the two councils.
Xentrall was established to respond to the growing pressures on local authorities to make savings, and the councils recognised that by working together it would be possible to be more financially efficient, improve services and share best practice.
