Sussex Police Select EGS to Automate £60 Million Annual Procurement Activity
SAP user Sussex Police have selected EGS to automate all of their procurement. This means Sussex Police will be able to take advantage of the EGS supplier network, maximise contract compliance and unlock the detailed management information essential to support effective strategic decision-making.

The force also anticipates major savings through streamlining their transaction processes but with significant additional savings when EGS's eInvoicing capability is added in 2009/2010.

"We wanted to become more strategic with our eProcurement," explains Neil Watts, Contracts Officer at Sussex Police. "We recognised EGS as the leader in its field. And when we saw how well their solution linked with SAP for Hampshire County Council, we realised EGS was the right choice."

"Savings are important for us - especially through eInvoicing. But the primary drivers are contract compliance and control. With EGS, we'll get both," adds Neil Watts.
